After all this time?

Ahhh! It was super windy when I took these pictures, so sorry about my weird expressions and hair flying everywhere! If I could control the weather, I would.

The one thing I can say about this skirt is that it's very very pink. The lovely lady in Lush did compliment me on it, though, which made me feel slightly better about being incredibly conspicuous.

And the heels. Oh my goodness, I'm so proud of the bargain I got them for. They retailed at £27.99, and with 20% Student Discount on top of the sale price, I ended up paying £5.60.  Definitely an investment and I love the gold heel.

 "After all this time?"
"Always" said Snape."

This bracelet is one of my favourite things. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan and I have a massive soft spot for Snape. The "Always." gets me every time I read it. Does anyone else get far too emotionally invested in fictional characters?

The Empire Strikes Back

I'm so sad my easter break is almost over and I'm going to have to go back to exams! I probably should have started revising by now...
The weather was really nice when I took these photos, though, and that always puts me in a good mood.

Dungarees: Primark
T-shirt: Factory Outlet Manchester
Black All Star Converse

My black Converse are such a mess because I've had them ages and wore them pretty much every day in, but they're so comfortable.

I'm a big Star Wars fan, so when I saw this t-shirt, I had to have it, though I think it's actually a t-shirt from the childrens boys' section, ah well. That's irrelevant. :P

What are you up to this weekend?

Spring Haul

So I've been buying quite a bit recently (I have no self control whatsoever) and I thought I'd share some of the things I've bought. Some is clothing related and some is hair/beauty. Sorry about the creases and lighting here! I'm hoping my photography skills will improve soon. :P

Maybelline Baby Lips (Pink Punch)
This is so hydrating, but sometimes I apply it and forget just how pigmented the tint actually is!
Maybelline The Falsies Volum' Express Mascara
I've been wanting to jump on the Volum' Express bandwagon for a while, and after a little research, I decided to go for The Falsies. There's nothing I hate more in a mascara than clumping, but with this, so far so good.
Rimmel Glam Eyes Liquid Liner (Black)
I  absolutely love liquid liners and this is my favourite that I've found so far.
Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm (Mischievous)
I wore this in my last outfit post and I really love the colour. It's so fun and summery. The only thing I'd say is that it can look a little dry on your lips as it's a matte balm, so be sure to moisturise and exfoliate them first!

Bubbi Brushes Complete Brush Kit - Shop Bubbi
If you follow me on Twitter (which you can do here) you'll see that I tweeted about these brushes. They're honestly the best brushes I've ever used and are super soft. They're made by the YouTube beauty guru Bubzbeauty (definitely check her out if you haven't already!) and are very high quality.
Pink and cream frilly socks - Primark
Super cute, right?
Black and grey vest tops - Primark
Rimmel Natural Bronzer (Sun Glow)
Rimmel 60 Second Nail Varnish (703 White Hot Love)
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer (Fair)
I've heard really good things about this concealer, and it's definitely living up to expectation. :)
V05 Heat Protect Styling Spray
MUA Eyebrow Pencil (Blonde)
Blouse - New Look
My sister bought this blouse from New Look and I loved it so much I had to get one for myself. :) It's so summery and pretty. It's folded a little oddly in these pictures, but I love blouses and shirts. Anything with a collar is adorable, in my book.
Sandals - Primark
I've seen these around the blogosphere quite a bit and wanted to give them a try. I especially love the gold detail on the buckle.
Sunglasses - Primark
I was impressed with these, only being £3. Now let's just hope we have a bit of sunshine this summer.

As you've probably gathered, I do a lot of my shopping at New Look and Primark, but hey, it's affordable. I also spent most of today at the Trafford Centre, but surprisingly, didn't buy anything. (Other than a Vanilla Iced Latte from Costa, but I couldn't say no, really.)

If you were wondering, I bought all of this myself, of my own accord, so nothing is sponsored, but I do read reviews and recommendations a lot of the time first.

Pastel

It's that time of year again and everyone is wearing pastels. I've not really been a huge fan of pastels until this year. I prefer bright colours normally, but recently, I've been liking how fresh and pretty they can look and this sweater is a favourite of mine. Sadly, spring in the UK doesn't mean warmth, so tights are still a necessity.

These are not the best pictures, the lighting was weird and I look really awkward in them, haha. Sorry about that!

Sweater: F&F
Dress: Primark
Shoes: Primark

The necklace was actually a gift from my cousins from their trip to New Zealand a few years ago. The mother of pearl is actually a lot more green than it looks in the picture and matches the sweater.

If you were wondering, my lip colour is the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Mischievous. :) Have a lovely day.

Cherry Blossom

Sorry I've been so absent! I wanted to wait until I got home so that I could have slightly more interesting backgrounds. I'll try and take as many photos as possible while I'm back for Easter.

Skirt: New Look
T-shirt: New Look
Jacket: Candy
Shoes: eBay
Necklace: New Look

I really love this skirt. It looks quite pink in the photos, but it's quite an orangey coral. Coral is such a pretty colour and I love wearing it in summer, so I can't wait for that!

I figured the floral jacket was spring appropriate, and matched the cherry tree in the background.

What are you loving about Spring?
